The YN-622C transmitter/receiver pair work as advertised.
I am using a pair of YN-622C units with a Canon Full-Frame EOS-R and a Speedlite 470EX-AI. In ETTL mode the focal length of the lens is correctly transmitted to the automatic zoom in the Speedlite, as are the functions to set ETTL/Manual operation and power compensation to over or under expose. At present I have found one strange effect where if I switch off the Optical Wireless Transmission in the camera menu the flash power level is incorrect. As the communication is not optical I don't see why this should be switched on (so I shall have to study the camera manual), but if the menu item is left switched on everything I have tested works correctly, so this is a curiosity rather than a problem. In summary, I can recommend these wireless triggers.
